Artie
Now entering the ring, rescued springer # 10.
Ladies and gentlemen, please meet ARTIE.
This 11 year old male is loved by his mommy and daddy, Nancy and Tim, who adopted him December 1st, 1999. Artie was rescued from the Chatsworth Animal Shelter 1 day before his scheduled euthanization. He spent 1 ½ years in ESRA's foster care program before being adopted.
Artie keeps 1 year old springer, Tobey, company and 2 year old springer, Ellie. They live with Ming, their 17 year old feline friend.
For attention, Artie walks up behind his humans and taps them with his paw which, of course, results in pets and hugs. He's a complete couch potato but loves going for walks. He knows he is loved because his springer companions have to watch from their crates while he does his obedience work on center stage. Then he gets chewies and treats even though he's on a diet.
Affectionately nicknamed "MR. ARTIE", "SWEETIE PIE" and "BEAUTIFUL", this is rescued springer #10, ARTIE.
