Buddy
Now entering the ring, rescued springer # 1.
Ladies and gentlemen, please meet LIFESAVERS BUDDERNUT SQUASH.
This 2 year old male is loved by his mommy and daddy, Suzanne and Rich, who adopted him on April 30th, 1999. Buddy was an owner referral who lived with 3 small children under the age of 5. He was wild, untrained, and relegated to being a yard ornament when rescue was contacted. He was rejected by one family and returned by another before being adopted.
Buddy lives with his American Cocker Spaniel brother, Brunswick, his English Setter sister, Pepper and a plethora of Springer Rescue fosters, many of whom are here today.
For attention, he springs into his mom's lap when she's not looking, sits on her when she's asleep or tries to dig his dad out when he's hiding under the covers. Buddy loves anything with wings. He knows he is loved because his adoption brought Suzanne into the world of Springer Rescue and cultivated the motivating fear that another dog like him could be sitting in a shelter with no one to save him..
Affectionately nicknamed "BUDDY BEE, "BUDDERNUT" and "BUDDAH", this is rescued springer #1, BUDDY.
